Frequently Asked Questions 

  1. What types of classes do you offer?
    We offer classes in creative movement, tap, jazz, ballet/pointe, hip-hop, & break dancing.

  2. What is the age range to participate in your program?
    We offer classes for students ranging from age 3 to adult.

  3. My child is 13 years old and has never danced before, is there a place for her/him in this program?
    Yes, we offer classes for ages at all levels (beginner through advanced). We specialize in beginner hip-hop classes for teenagers.

  4. Does my child need to audition to get into the program?
    There is no audition process. Class placement is done at the discretion of the program     directors and/or teachers. Placement is based upon age, ability, and experience. *All children are accepted.

  5. Can my child take classes whenever he/she wants and what type of a commitment is expected?
    Our program is a monthly commitment with classes running from mid August through June Mondays-Thursdays. Class attendance is extremely important for your child’s progress.

  6. Do you have a spring concert?
    Yes, this showcase allows parents and friends to see what their child has learned over the   year and to celebrate their accomplishments. It also gives the student a chance to enhance their performance skills.

  7. Am I allowed to watch my child in class?
    The classes are closed to viewing in order for teachers to maintain the students’ focus.  However, we do open the viewing windows during the last 10 minutes of class each week.

  8. How do I register my child for the 2004-05 Season of Dance?
    You can register by mail or by bringing a completed Registration Form to the studio.

  9. When will you stop registering new students?
    We will register new students until January 2005.
